About Me...
Above: I'm passionate about my work and I love getting outdoors, especially hiking the beautiful red cliffs in the St. George area or spending time surrounded by trees up in the mountains.

Before certifying and beginning my career as a personal trainer I spent many years performing on stage. I knew at the age of 12 that I wanted to become a professional dancer and with dedication and determination, I did just that. My career in dance allowed me to travel while working in many parts of the world. It was a real dream come true!
Eventually I settled in the Las Vegas area in order to enjoy a home and family life where I could continue to work in entertainment. I performed in a number of shows, "Jubilee" at Bally's and "Winds of the Gods" at Luxor, to name a couple. Performing in production shows in the evening allowed me to also be hired for numerous conventions, industrials, trade show events, television commercials, print ads, and voice overs during the day.
Looking back over my years as a dancer, one of the most challenging jobs I ever had was being employed for almost 3 years with Princess Cruise Lines. As a performer I danced in 5 production shows a week on a floor that constantly moved! I learned quickly that the development of core strength and stability is the foundation that all other strength is to be built upon. That is why I bring that principle to all the fitness programs I develop for my clients. Core stabilization and balance are key factors in maintaining functionality and reducing the risk of injury, especially as one ages.
When my fitness career first began back in January 1998 I accepted a job working at 24 Hr. Fitness in Henderson, NV. Having the desire to work for myself, within one year I established my own business, Peak Performance. For the next 13 years I continued to work with training and post-rehab clients in my home gym, coaching individuals in the nutrition education program I developed, and working health fairs in the Las Vegas area.
In early 2012 it was necessary for my family to relocate to Southern California. Unfortunately, just prior to that move I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I immediately began juicing, detoxifying, and following a very strict elimination diet. After four months of that protocol I agreed to surgery. I chose not to do chemo or radiation. My outcome was excellent and my recovery quick! It has been almost a decade now that I have been cancer free! The experience taught me first hand about the healing power of nutrient dense, whole food! Since that time I have continued to eat a plant based diet and am familiar with and capable of working with clients that have a variety of special dietary and nutritional needs.
Soon after my recovery I spent the next four years working at Fitness Wave in Irvine where I conducted Hydrostatic Body Fat, VO2 Sub Max, and Resting Metabolic Rate Testing alongside working with my own fitness and nutrition clientele. In 2016 I relocated to St. George, Utah. Every day I marvel at the natural beauty of Southern Utah and spend as much time as I can outdoors enjoying it! When working I am primarily at a private fitness studio, Synergy Massage & Personal Fitness, as well as, coaching private clients. During my first four years here I also helped rehabilitate auto accident patients at Whiplash Center of Utah. In addition, I have been an active member of BNI (Business Networking International) since 2018 and served as President of my chapter from October 2019 through September 2020.
My personal life experience and years of working with hundreds of clients have provided me with the understanding, compassion, and ability to guide, educate, motivate, and hopefully, inspire you to begin your journey to a healthier, long life!
REMEMBER, as you continue your climb to reach
PEAK PERFORMANCE...
you didn't come this far to only come tHIS far!
